Bud helps organizations solve problems in a complex world by experimenting with new technologies, business models and consumers for some of the biggest brands on the planet. A former programmer during the dot-com bubble turned marketing consultant today, Bud's work has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes and AdAge. And this month, he was chosen Business Insider’s Most Creative Person in Advertising Under 30. Bud blogs on the intersection of marketing, culture and technology at WhatConsumesMe.com.
Goodby conveniently interviewed Anders for a new position the day after the great Chevy party in September 2010 and shortly after he moved to the U.S. from Sweden. Needless to say, he came across as very alert, smart and got the job on the spot. He has so far worked on Sonic (new biz win), Adobe, HP, Intuit, Nintendo and TD Ameritrade (new biz win). Although mostly known for his work in non-traditional and interactive, Anders is a hybrid CD with 12 years in advertising, starting his career as a writer for print and TV before joining the interactive shop Daddy in 2006. His last gig before moving to California was as Creative Director at Crispin, Porter + Bogusky in Gothenburg. Anders has won some big awards, judged some big shows and co-written a book on digital advertising. Yet, his true undiscovered talent is as a musician and guitarist. Endorsed by iconic American metal guitar brand Jackson Guitars, Anders can shred your face off.

Kat Gordon is the creator of The 3% Conference, a first-ever event highlighting the business importance of female creative directors. Kat spearheaded this effort as a passion project and quickly realized she struck a nerve: the event sold out in advance of its 9/27/2012 date and drew 200 attendees from dozens of top agencies from all over the country.
Kat’s 20-year advertising career spans both coasts: in New York and San Francisco where she worked at Hal Riney, Anderson Lembke, Sports Illustrated, Cosmopolitan and USA TODAY. At the forefront of what is one of the nation’s fastest growing industries, Jason has marketed Deschutes Brewery’s damn tasty beers since 1999. His role with the fifth largest craft brewery in the country has grown and expanded along with the company: from establishing traditional marketing materials, packaging and advertising promotions all the way to creating complex social media outreach campaigns as digital marketing manager. A Pacific Northwest native, Randles holds a degree from Western Washington University.

Kevin has worked in an account manager role at tbd for almost six years. Prior to that he was brand manager of Ban antiperspirant/deodorant at Kao Brands in Cincinnati. He earned an MBA with a focus in marketing from Indiana University. At tbd, Kevin works on three of tbd’s beer accounts, Odell Brewing Co., 21st Amendment Brewing, and Crux Fermentation Project. Kevin can confirm, beer is way better than deodorant.

Dan Hon, Global Interactive Creative Director, Wieden + Kennedy
Dan Hon is the global interactive creative director for Nike at Wieden + Kennedy in Portland, OR, where he works on the intersection between storytelling, games, play and code. A rehabilitated lawyer, he’s worked for Mind Candy helping to build their first product, Perplex City, and co-founded Six to Start, an award-winning entertainment production company in 2007. His projects have won Best of Show, Best Experimental and Best Game at SXSW Interactive. He’s most known for being passionately for, and against, ARGs. He does not play World of Warcraft anymore.
Karrelle Dixon, Global Account Director, Wieden + Kennedy
Karrelle is the Global Account Director for Nike at Wieden + Kennedy in Portland, OR. Prior to arriving in Portland two-and-a-half years ago, Karrelle spent four years working on Nike and other agency accounts at W+K London. Over the years he has worked across the Nike brand and helped produce campaigns like Run London, Nike Five, World Cup (UK), LeBron (Rise), Kobe (Black Mamba), Better World and others. He is also a former professional Rugby player and gained his Oxford Blue, whilst studying for his second masters in Psychology (the first being from Brunel University). He is passionate about sport and has an opinion on every type of sporting endeavor from Tiddlywinks to MMA.
JESS3 is a creative agency that specializes in telling stories in interesting and innovative ways. Brad brings experience as a Creative Design Director and Content Strategist with an understanding of interpersonal and group dynamics online and off. He has worked in various agency environments helping organizations discover and craft messages that resonate within communities.
Brad has a diverse background including (but is not limited to) zoological field research, naturalist, instruction of English as a foreign language, professional chef, startup entrepreneur and network analyst. Eric is the President of Stone Temple Consulting, a 25+ person SEO firm with offices in Massachusetts and California. He publishes regular columns on Search Engine Land, Search Engine Watch, and the Stone Temple blog. Eric is also co-author of "The Art of SEO" along with Stephan Spencer, Rand Fishkin and Jessie Stricchiola.

Cal is a proud Detroit native who cut his teeth as a beat writer for the Chicago Tribune. After getting in a lot of trouble for making things up, he switched to advertising. Before co-founding Wexley School for Girls in 2003, he worked on regional, national and international business at small shops like WONGDOODY and global agencies like Foote, Cone and Belding and Publicis Worldwide.
Cal’s worked in every major consumer and trade category on brands like Nike, ESPN, Microsoft, Xbox, T-Mobile, MADD, Coca Cola, The Red Cross, the Seattle Seahawks and Sounders, RealNetworks, Amstel Light and NASCAR, to name a few. His work has been recognized by most every international advertising award show, including Cannes, the Clios, Communication Arts, New York Art Director’s Club and the One Show.
ANDREW MELCHIOR has earned a reputation as a diverse online marketer. After completing his degree in business administration from the University of Utah, he quickly learned that his path was not that of a traditional career, but rather that of an entrepreneur. For more than ten years he’s been working around the clock in the search industry as the co-founder of Avalaunch Media in 2012, co-founder of Dream Systems Media in 2005, and ecommerce business owner since 2000. Andrew has worked with a large number of businesses through his media companies, including companies such as Mvelopes, iTOK, ESRB, Build Direct and BlackFriday.com. Andrew is just as passionate about his personal life as he is about his professional life. In his younger days, he rocked a mullet for nearly ten years and is known to slay karaoke mics loudly and often. As a Utah native and outdoor enthusiast, when not beckoned by his family or business duties, you’ll find Andrew blazing trails on his moto or mountain bike.

Lisa is delighted to be bringing her years of startup experience “home” to her roots in writing. Previously, Lisa founded Elodie Partners and served as the President of virtual economy pioneer, Twofish (acquired by Live Gamer), and as a venture capitalist with In-Q-Tel, Vista Ventures, and Palo Alto Venture Partners. She ran her own freelance writing and marketing agency and worked in M&A at Broadview.
Outside of Coliloquy, Lisa serves as an advisor to BulletTime Ventures, Boulder Digital Works, and several startups, as well as a mentor for the TechStars program. She was named an AlwaysON Top 25 Women to Watch in Tech and is one of 65 women across technology, arts, media, and philanthropy chosen for the Institute for the Future’s new Women Think Big consortium. Lisa has an MBA from Stanford University, an MA from the University of Chicago, and a BA from the Penn State University Scholars Program.

Because of Matt’s passion for the online industry and all things IT, he loves collaborating with other industry leaders and speaking at search conferences like Pubcon, SMX and Search Engine Strategies, as well as at other events and Universities across the country. Before forming Avalaunch Media, Matt co-founded Dream Systems Media in 2005, and has started several highly successful e-commerce businesses as far back as 1998.

Marshall Simmonds is the Founder of Define Media Group, the enterprise audience development and SEO company specializing in enterprise search marketing and strategic consultation. He’s been involved in search since 1997, was the Chief Search Strategist for About.com from 1999-2011 and spent 2005-2010 overseeing all search strategy initiatives for the New York Times Company portfolio. Define Media Group started in 2005 and officially broke off from the NYTCo in January of 2011. Define works with many of the most influential brands and networks in the world. After 19 years in Oregon (15 in Bend) Marshall lives in his hometown of Boise, Idaho.
